Welcome back! We hope everyone had a relaxing February break. March certainly arrived like the lion that it is but we were all excited to return to school & see our friends again. We read many books about dental health since it's dental health week & also painted colorful pictures at the easel using toothbrushes.
During small group with our pre-k kids, we identified who has the letter Ll in their name, stamped & wrote Ll in our journals, outlined the L with gem stones, rainbow traced L & came up with a list of words that begin with the letter L for our word wall. It is the biggest word list we have so far!
We created a new use for an acrylic paint holder. The children rallied around to tie ribbons on it. This activity was multipurpose. Fine motor skills were exercised, tying a knot was introduced & sensory words such as smooth, rough, silky, bumpy & more were used to describe the ribbons. So much learning during 1 simple, fun activity. And our children voluntarily participated in this activity. Worksheets not necessary!

Please keep in mind that if your child is not chosen for the UPK lottery, we will match the SCOPE paid UPK program tuition rate if it is less than our 5-day tuition rate. Scope UPK rates have increased over the past few years & I'm not yet sure of the 2017-2018 school year rate.
Registration for Creative Kids 2017-2018 school year is now open. The paperwork has been updated on our website. Sibling discount is available. The $50 registration fee will be waived if you register by May 1st.
