Spring has finally sprung! At least according to the calendar. Mother Nature hasn't received the memo yet. Regardless, we are very excited to welcome warmer weather as soon as it arrives. We read various books about spring, discussed the signs of spring & created with green play-dough & dinosaurs.
During small group with our pre-k kids, we identified who has the letter Oo in their name, stamped & wrote Oo in our journals, outlined O with gem stones, rainbow traced O & made a list of words that begin with the letter O for our word wall.
We began discussing the move to our new school with the children! They seem excited to know we will have more space to play! Many questions are being asked & we are responding to them appropriately. Basically, they want to know if we will all be together & what will be coming with us. We have been assuring them that everyone they know in school will be there when we move & all of our toys are coming with us.
We would like to send a great big congratulations to James T.'s daddy who graduated from the Suffolk Police Academy on Friday!
