During Music Monday we watched a video & sang “One Love” along with the One World Chorus & Aaron Nigel Smith. We also played lots of instruments throughout the week.
On Taco Tuesday we followed a recipe to make our own corn & bean salsa. Then we dipped tortilla chips in our salsa to eat. While many of us liked it, some of us didn't. But most of us tried it. It's fun to try new foods to eat.
On Work-Together Wednesday we worked as a team to build with blocks. We also worked together on Artsy Thursday to create a picture of the earth using tissue paper.
I hope our families enjoyed their breakfast/snacks during drop-off in the morning & afternoon for Family Friday. Just a little something to put a smile on your face. Our real Family Friday event will take place on Friday, April 22nd during our Spring Fling/Earth Day Celebration when all of our families are invited to participate. (See below.)
Books We Read: If Kids Ran the World (Leo & Diane Dillon), This is Our Earth (Laura Lee Benson), Think Green (Jeanine Behr Getz).
