This week we continued our Earth Day projects, completing our Recycled Wall Art, making rain sticks to use during our Earth Day Celebration & creating collages. The children learned that they can create “something from nothing” by using items that would otherwise be thrown in the garbage & fill our landfills.
During scissor skills practice we cut strips of paper. Even our youngest are learning to navigate those scissors safely!
We celebrated Trenton’s 3rd birthday on Monday. Thank you to Trenton’s family for bringing in delicious cupcakes! Happy 3rd Birthday, Trenton!
Thank you to all of our families who joined us for our Earth Day Celebration. The children practiced the songs for 2 weeks & were proud to sing & show off their art work. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves & had enough goodies to eat!
We have a new 2 year old student that will begin with us on Mon & Wed morning beginning May 7. Please note that on those mornings, we will be a peanut/tree nut FREE facility at the recommendation of his allergist due to his age. Any snacks containing peanuts/tree nuts or snacks prepared in facilities containing peanuts/tree nuts will NOT be allowed during snack time. Most snacks have a disclaimer stating on the package whether or not a food is prepared in a facility containing peanuts/tree nuts. I realize that this may be difficult for some families to adhere to, however, this is a common occurrence in other preschools as well as elementary schools these days. Thank you for your cooperation.

Punishing children for feeling ANGRY can hinder social-emotional development. Allow children to feel their emotions and teach them sociably acceptable ways of expressing
them. (Conscious Discipline)
