We had another fabulous week here at school in the new year. We participated in scarf dancing while listening to a song from Frozen (Let it Go) as well as La Rejoussance – Scarves, The Freeze, The Rainbow Colors Song & Wave Your Scarves. We threw snowballs (pretend, of course) into a large bucket (& sometimes at each other) as well as played in our various centers. We talked about the winter season. We also painted at the easel with cool blues, turquoise & purple. Then we decorated out paintings with purple stars & small pieces of silver paper.
Welcome to our two new friends, Brady & Keira! We are so happy to have them join us at school.
Stella brought in a book for us to read, This Little Piggy’s Book of Manners (Kathryn Madeline Allen). The book helped us practice using our manners.

January, the 1st month of the new year & also the month of snowstorms. Along with the possibility of snow comes the prospect of closings & delays. While we make every effort to remain open, safety is a factor for all of our families & staff.
Please note that if Sachem School District closes due to inclement weather, we will also be closed. If Sachem has a delayed opening, we will make every effort to open at our usual time. However, extenuating circumstances might require us to be closed for the morning session. Please tune in to WALK radio (FM 97.5) or check our FB page & the Remind App for closing & delay information.
Creative Kids will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
