Congratulations to big brother, Jackson & his family! Jackson recently welcomed home his new baby sister!
This week we welcomed Miss Humera, Miss Sidra & Miss Hira to our classroom. They came to help us in order to fulfill community service hours. We had fun playing with them!
After reading the book, If I Were a Fish by Laura Gates Glavin, we discussed what kind of fish we would like to be!
We made salt, glue & watercolor pictures by squeezing glue onto paper & watching it “dance.” After, we used a salt shaker to shake salt on top of the glue, shaking off the excess salt when finished. Using pipettes, we transferred liquid watercolors on top of the salt. As the salt absorbed the paint, they both mixed with the glue & an interesting texture appeared. When thoroughly dry, we shook off the excess salt again.
