Happy Meteorological Spring!
Dare I say it? We've made it through almost the entire winter without a snow day. If no snow days are used, spring break will be extended through Monday, April 13. Fingers crossed!
We read books about colors this week and will continue to read about colors next week. We painted with green at the easel then decorated our painting with various green materials to make a green collage.
A big congratulations to Katie and family! Katie is now a big sister and Ms. Sheri is an aunt again. Mia Faith was welcomed into the world on Thursday, March 5.

UPK registration paperwork can now be accessed on the Sachem Schools website. Children who turn 4 by 12/1/2020 are eligible for the Sachem UPK program. Registration deadline is 3/27/2020. Students are selected for the program via lottery. However, those not chosen via lottery have the option to attend the paid program. Good luck!
St. Patrick's Day is almost here. We will have a Green Day celebration during snack time. If you would like to send in treats, we would very much appreciate it. It will also be Green Day so be sure to dress the children in Green for school! We have a total of 12 children in our morning class.

It is not something to fit in after the important stuff.
Play is the important stuff.
Play is a drive, a need, a brain building must-do.
