We’ve been very busy this week with our super secret Mother’s Day projects among other things! We have no doubt that you will love them! We also maneuvered along our obstacle course, manipulated play dough with farm animals & loose parts, played in our various centers, built with Legos & Tinker Toys, as well as practiced our fine motor skills in the writing center.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Very Important Ladies Tea. We hope you enjoyed spending time with your children in the classroom & receiving the fabulous gifts they made just for you.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of our fabulous moms, grandmas, nanas & aunts! We know how hard you work every day raising our precious children & our future generation!

Friday, 5/18 is our 2nd annual field trip to the Holtsville Ecology Center. Please return the permission slips as soon as possible so we can keep an accurate head count. It’s sure to be a fun day! We will meet at the zoo entrance at 9:00 a.m. We will not be returning to the school & will remain at the Ecology Center until 3:00 or until the children (or parents) have had enough. Remember to pack a lunch/snacks, wipes, diapers if needed & of course, the sunscreen! If we need to postpone due to weather, a message will be sent using both the Brightwheel & Remind apps as well as posted on our FB page so be sure to check for any updates. Our rain date is Friday, 5/25/18.
Registration is still underway for Creative Kids Summer Camp 2018 as well as the 2018-2019 school year. If you have verbally indicated that your child will attend but have not yet completed paperwork or sent in the $50 registration fee, please know that I cannot hold your child’s spot. We are now full to capacity on Wednesday & Friday mornings with both returning & new families who have submitted deposits. There are no exceptions to this. A deposit must be made to hold your child’s spot. Registration reminders have been sent home in almost every weekly newsletter since registration began. As much as I adore all of our children & want them to return, I am also running a business & have obligations that need to be fulfilled. Thank you for your understanding. We will begin a waiting list for days that are full.
You can struggle for weeks to teach a child to identify colors before they are ready
or you can do it in a few moments when they are ready to learn. (Unkown)
Have a fabulous weekend!
