Activities: Play dough, googly eyes & craft sticks were on the menu to create faces. Fine motor skills were exercised by threading fall colored beads onto brown pipe cleaners to hang on our fall tree. Using the Fundations curriculum, our Pre-K children were introduced to the “Aa” letter/sound. All children were introduced to our science center including how to use & care for the various materials.
In case you didn’t notice, Ms. Sheri was at it again & slightly re-arranged our classroom. We are always looking for ways to improve learning for all of us & classroom environment plays a big part in how children learn. In Reggio Emilia, Italy, the classroom environment is known as the third teacher.
