Thank you to all of our families who attended/contributed to our Halloween festivities. We hope everyone had a great time. We certainly enjoyed seeing all of the “boo-ti-ful” costumes.
Before Halloween we spoke about our costumes with both the morning & afternoon classes, then categorized them as people, animals or things. Next, we counted how many were in each category. As you can see from our graph, the most popular costumes were people.
During our morning class, Allison shared her coral and shell collection found during her vacation. Some of us had the opportunity to touch them carefully, explore and draw a picture of them.
With the Thanksgiving holiday rapidly approaching, we have been discussing the meaning of “thank you.” We are exploring what we are thankful for and documenting it on our gratitude pumpkin.
